Omggggg! I’m positively GIDDY! These books just keep getting better and better. I did it again—I started a book that I only wanted to read a few pages on. Well a few pages turned to several and before I knew it, I was done. Then there’s this bonus deleted scene at the end of the book that has me feeling all kinds of love and fucked up. Because it was hot as SHIT!
Anyways, before my whole review becomes just me talking about that deleted scene... I’ll talk to you a bit about the book. Tacet a Mortuis starts off where Broken Puppets ended. For those of you that read it, you already know all about how Ms. Jones left us hanging! For real, my mouth dropped at the end of that story.
Madison and Bishop are the main couple of the story. Don’t be fooled though, every single character in the series is important. I’ve grown to love them all as if they were my family. So, while some may think that this has a bunch of aide characters, don’t. They all have stories to tell. There’s one I particularly need to know about between a certain sexy manwhore. Plus, Madison has an amazing best friend, Tatum.
There were so many secrets, betrayals, sex, unrequited love, and oh man, the darkness of these books are what make them so addicting. Bishop is...something else. No words could ever describe how amazingly well written he is. Mr. Broody has so many shades to him that I’m always surprised when he’s given a little bit more of himself to us.
Overall, if you’re into dark, sex-positive, and realistic and flawed characters, please go and buy the first book if you haven’t already. I’m already anticipating the continuation of the series!

Okay, what can I say that hasn't already been said? Christina Lauren has hit it out of the park with this one. I can honestly say that this particular book by them may be one of my favorites to date. It was fun, flirty, sexy, and had me grinning from the first page. Fans of The Hating Game, I think this one will be right up your alley!
Evie and Carter meet in the cutest way. I know that if I were to ever meet someone and hit it off, it would most definitely be the way they met. Dating You/Hating You is the classic love/hate, arch-nemesis but 'secretly want to bang you' story. It's the type of story that won't ever play out, at least in my eyes, because it's so rich in angst and romance. The two leads were absolutely amazing, and I enjoyed their witty banter. I kind of wish their was a little more "hate" scenes though!
You might think you see the synopsis for what it is and immediately think that it's just like every other romance book you've read. But I can assure you, it's completely unique! I adored everything from Carter and Evie, to the supporting cast, and most of all I loved how insanely romantic it was. Two people falling in love but then start an all out war over a job they both want? What's not to love!?
Now, days later, I'm still thinking of our two delicious main characters. Readers, I think you'll be more than happy once your able to get your hands on this baby. It's sexiness blown up times a hundred. I stayed up all night reading the book and I can guarantee you it was well worth it. Who needs sleep when you absolutely can't pull your eyes away from a world an author created? Especially, when inside the book, there's a sexy man just waiting for you to read him!

My number one favorite types of stories are the ones where I get to follow a character through everything; falling in love, first heartbreak, the angst, etc. And not only did I get to follow Nolan from the time she was a freshmen until she was a grownup, well I was just beyond heartbroken when it came time to say bye to the characters. I felt like I'd known them for years and years. The two books take you through so much...and my heart was beating erratically the whole time. I hope that you can find a way to READ these books and fall in love with them the way I did. Thank you Ginger, for writing such a profound and loving book. Obviously, you have a fan for life.

Review:
When I first read "The Fine Art of Pretending" Justin was a character I
desperately wanted to know about. If I didn't love the male lead so much
already, I would have voted for Justin to win the girl of that book.
Alas, I'm so happy that he didn't. Peyton. There's not much to say
except I completely adored her. She was sweet yet strong, and she's the
only girl to have Justin's heart.
But
Justin did a big no-no push Peyton away - now it's years later, senior
year, no less - and the two are paired up for a class project. Justin
feels like it's his chance to finally make things right but Peyton isn't
having any of it. I liked the fact that we got to see Peyton and Justin
fall in love in there freshman year. I only had one tiny problem.
I
hated the fact that Justin waited so damn long to make things right. No
matter what his reasons were, he should have explained things sooner.
It's like we're expected to believe he's in love with this one girl but
since he's too scared to do anything about it, he goes and hooks up with
anyone with a vagina. Not cool. I understand the why but I still think
it's a lame excuse.
Other
than that, I adored the story. Justin is just as swoonworthy as I
remembered him to be. He's sweet, attentive, and I think once we get
passed the fact that he's a manwhore, he's actually a decent guy.
Overall, I fully and wholeheartedly recommend these books to everyone.
Rachel Harris truly knows how to hit the spot when it comes to
contemporary romance.

Rachel Harris. There's is nothing in this world I could say to give her the praise she rightfully deserves. There's just this thing she does when writing a story that I can't explain. It's beautiful, witty, and makes me want more. Every. Single. Time. You're Still the One has been such a delight to read. Immediately I fell in love with both Charlie and Arabella. Their the epitome of opposites attract. Ella is sweet, shy, and the ultimate good girl. Charlie is the sexy bassist for a country music band, bad boy extraordinaire and he's in deep shit for a misunderstanding with the mayors daughter. Causing him to make nice.
"They needed to write guidebooks for this sort of thing. The Idiot’s Guide to Flirting With the Man of Your (Literal) Dreams Who Clearly Doesn’t Know You Exist."
He the reasons for Charlie swearing off women (for the time being) is so that he can get a program together for teens with depression. He needs his boss and the owner of the record label to be part of the board and invest in what he's got planned for the teens. Right after Charlie says no no to anymore women, a beautiful brunette stumbles into his life. Even though he should know exactly who Arabella is, he doesn't even recognize who she is. Which is just as well, considering she wants to finally tell Charlie how she feels.
Flirting. Telling Charlie about a list of things to do before summer is over... Including a hot and sweet kiss; the two will try as they may to stay professional around each other. But it's looking like that shit isn't going to fly. For obvious reasons, duh! I was only a few chapters in when I realized that one, I didn't want this book to ever end, and two, went to straight to goodreads to see if there were another one after this book. Imagine my joy when I saw that this WAS the first book in a new series! Ha.

Charlie. Charlie. Charlie. He's my FAVORITE type of book boyfriend for the sole reason that he's a musician. Damn. I go weak at the knees when reading about a man up on stage either singing or playing any kind of instrument. Plus he's a bad boy with a heart of gold. Another one of my weaknesses. It's hard not to see why Ella has been in love with him for so many years.
I recommend this book and any other book by Rachel Harris to everyone. Well if you're younger than eighteen...make sure you have an adults permission for the adult books. Not that they're are bad but they may have some things that aren't suitable for children. Anyway, I can't tell you enough: GO READ RACHEL HARRIS. And keep in mind this fair warning, you will fall in love.

She was totally stressing.
This wasn’t anything like she’d imagined. First of all,
Tyler and Sherry’s neighborhood was darling, but when Charlie had suggested
their home as the ideal location to go skinny-dipping, she’d envisioned a huge
estate with a pool to rival the Playboy Mansion. What she got was a cute,
modest, old-style, southern home on a quiet cul-de-sac.
Charlie had explained that this was typical Magnolia
Springs. Here, they didn’t need a huge gated community or acres and acres of
land. People didn’t care about money or celebrity. The only things that
mattered were how kind you were, what team you rooted for (hint: always say the
Saints), and how spicy you seasoned your seafood.
While that was all well and good, and Arabella
appreciated the charm of the neighborhood, he was overlooking a huge benefit
from the sprawling acreage of most celebrity homes:
Seclusion.
Tyler’s neighbors surrounded him on three sides. The
so-called privacy fence bordering the property didn’t do squat for those towering
second-story windows. And while said windows currently all sat dark, the moon
was heavy and half full in the sky. There was more than enough light reflecting
off the surface if a wandering eye should awaken and decide to catch a peek.
As for the pool in question, it was absolutely adorable
with its rushing waterfall and soothing, blue-tinted underwater lights…but it
was a whole lot smaller than she’d anticipated. Like, so small it could be
considered a lap pool. As in she’d be practically sitting on Charlie’s lap.Naked.
“How about this?” he said, voice low and husky in the
dark. “I’ll go first.”
The rustle of fabric in the otherwise quiet night told
her he was stripping down, and Arabella squeezed her eyes shut against the
sudden whirlwind of emotions. That was theotherthing about this little adventure of
hers. It was no longer a solo dip.
Charlie would be naked, too.
A hiss of fabric soundedbehind her, and Ella’s heart
pounded in her ears.
Correction: Charliewasnaked. Right now. Just a few feet
away. Swinging free in the nonexistent breeze.
Heaven help me.
Soft footsteps crept toward her, and Arabella almost
swallowed her tongue. Touching his bare skin would be easy—soeasy—as easy as stretching a hand
back and extending her fingertips. Her hands clenched at her sides.
How many nights had she lain in bed, dreaming of this
