Swoon Romance
Summary from Goodreads:
In the town of Belle Ridge there are doctors,
lawyers and teachers... but there is only one vampire. Will Leighton has become
an expert in making a life for himself amongst the unsuspecting small-town
inhabitants, as the high school history teacher. He has spent hundreds of years
crafting an identity and routine that make him feel almost human, but he is
always missing that important final element, love.
Ashton Wallace is beautiful, smart, and angry. She was forced into an eternal existence, and now her family has moved her away from everything and everyone she knows. In Belle Ridge she is supposed to finish high school and start her life again, but how do you make plans for the next several centuries?
Will has never met another of his kind, and is immediately intrigued by Ashton. He longs to show her that the perceived vampire lifestyle, so popular in storybooks, is far from reality...but will she let him be a friend and guide in this new existence? Can Ashton accept Will into her life, or will she be led astray by a dark stranger with whom she shares an unknown connection?

Review:
Have you ever read a book where the premise was so unbelievable and ridiculous that you couldn't possibly read on? Your mind is telling you to stop the madness and to just put the book down! Well, Ive definitely read something unbelievable alright. So unbelievable that I couldn't stop reading it! And the more I read, the more I wanted to know. You know what happens when you just have to know what happens, right? You finish the ridiculous book in one sitting and grin the whole way through!
Unrequited is a book about about Kat, a girl who unfortunately gets stuck with having to take her younger sisters to the boy band, Unrequited. On the way to the concert, she meets a mysteriously, beautiful boy but not only does she not get his number, she doesn't get his name.
While at the concert, Kat is minding her own business when the lead singer, Angus, notices Kat in the crowd dancing to a different tune. In fact, he knows she's dancing to a different tune because the girl in question has her head phones in!
Obviously, Angus gets enthralled and tries to reach Kat the only way we know how now a days, through social media! It starts a frenzy and with the help of Kat's best friend and little sisters, well let's just say Kat's life will never be the same.
'Unrequited' is not a love triangle in the least, it's a love square. It involves four people and it's completely bogus and plain fun. Throughout the book, you're left wondering why these people can be so blind. I know who I wanted everyone to be with but why oh why couldn't these characters see it?
This book is such a great read! You need to go in with an open mind because as I've stated, the premise is unbelievable but sometimes you need that in your life. I loved being able to go on such a fun adventure with these characters and I wouldn't be too sad if there was another book!
Overall, I think you should pick up Unrequited asap and I recommend this to anyone who loves romance.
