Review:
Parkland Speaks is a powerful collection of short essays, poems, and thoughts on the terrible tragedy that ended in seventeen lives lost. This blog post is not political; it’s strictly a matter that’s close to my heart a human matter. Innocent lives were lost through something that could have been avoided. But again, this post isn’t about that.

It’s about the kids that were left behind to face the aftermath of an event that changed their entire lives. This was so heartbreaking to read but an absolute necessity to be privileged enough to read the thoughts of students that were there when it happened.

This is a book that will no doubt leave me anytime soon. Let your voice be heard no matter where you are. Your voice matters and the students from Parkland’s voices shine so bright. Let this be an inspiration to be the change in a world that desperately needs it!
