BLURB:
“Prepare for a snow-frosted, blood-drenched fairy tale where the monsters steal your heart and love ends up being the nightmare.” - Roshani ChokshiNew York Times bestselling author of The Star-Touched Queen

A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself.

A prince in danger must decide who to trust.

A boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings.

Together, they must assassinate the king and stop the war.

In a centuries-long war where beauty and brutality meet, their three paths entwine in a shadowy world of spilled blood and mysterious saints, where a forbidden romance threatens to tip the scales between dark and light. Wicked Saints is the thrilling start to Emily A. Duncan’s devastatingly Gothic Something Dark and Holy trilogy.

“This book destroyed me and I adored it.”- Stephanie Garber, New York Times bestselling author of Caraval

Review-
Wicked Saints started off with a bang. I knew it was a book for me as soon as I read the blurb. A strong female lead? Yes! Sign me up for all the strong female vibes. Plus there’s a Prince and romance and war. All signs pointing to a book that could take me far, far away from the place I come from. I like the fact that it inspires a Russian and Polish setting—the backdrop was as beautiful as the writing.

For the most part, I was very engaged with the characters and the storyline. But there were times that I felt the book dragged. It wasn’t enough to completely take me away; I’m just stating a fact that it could be a bit boring in certain areas. Nadya was a great character and I liked her immediately. She showed great strength and bravery in such a scary world.

Overall, I think this is a great book for readers to put on their TBR lists! It’s an interesting premise with a promise of more to come.
