The heartwarming conclusion to What's Left of Me.
Love found me three years ago.
I’m cancer free, happily married to the love of my life, and working toward my dream career.
Our life is complete. Perfect, really.
Or is it?
I’ve always wanted a family of my own, but never dreamed I could have one. Now Parker’s ready to make my dream our reality.
But sometimes our dreams are haunted by our deepest fears. Fears of failure, having a child, and in our case … death. How do I help the person I love get over his fear when I’m still trying to overcome that same fear myself?
Together we must learn What’s Left of Us.
Review:
I remember when I first read What's Left of Me, I fell in love with Aundrea's story. It was one of the book that made me cry hard. It was filled with so much emotion and so many other feels, that it was most definitely a top ten read.Review:
What's Left of Us did not disappoint. The emotions were on point, Parker was damn amazing, and Aundrea was as sweet as ever. We start the story off with a prologue that leaves you breathless and sets the tone for the entirety of the book.
Aundrea and Parker have been married for a year; life is perfect. The cancer is gone, leaving Aundrea to do things she never thought possible. But there's something missing and the couple wants more. Even though Dre is cancer free, she still has ongoing health issues that keep her in check. Meaning, she lives in fear that her time on earth may be cut short.
I felt the pain, the anguish, the love, the hurt, the happy...all the bad. I cried along with the characters and let me tell you, it felt so good. I know that sounds weird but I love books that make me feel all these emotions in this kind of way. I adored the way Parker treated Aundrea; he is truly such an amazing man! Too bad he isn't real.
All the secondary characters were as great as ever and I hate beyond hate to say goodbye to everyone. The writing is beautiful, the characters are charming, and the story pulls you in from the very first page. If you haven't yet read the second book ( of the first!) you need to jump on that real quick. You won't be disappointed. Amanda Maxlyn knows how to write a story.

Life works in mysterious ways.
Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.
I refuse to cry.
And I refuse to give in.
A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.
My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.
I am the mother of two little boys, married to the love of my life, and living in one of the smallest towns in Minnesota. When I’m not chasing or cleaning up after my boys (yes, all three), I can be found writing or snuggled up with my kindle, a glass of wine, and spending time with my fictional friends and family.
I am first and foremost an avid reader! I love to read anything romance from paranormal, young/new adult, contemporary, and even yes, (wide eyes) erotic/BDSM.
