1. What is Zombie Cruise about?

Frankly, the story is about a zombie attack on a luxury cruise ship. The story is being told through the eye of  awomen named Brenda who was expecting a relaxing vacation but instead has found herself in a nightmarish fight for survival. 

2. When did you first realize you wanted to be an author?

When I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I found out how therapeutic writing was and from then on I knew I had to be an author.

3. What is your idea of the perfect date?

I’m a pretty classic girl, I still believe that a movie and a nice dinner is the best way to get to know someone during a date.

4. Favorite color?

Hard for me to choose between blood red and black, but I think blood red is my favorite.

5. Favorite book?

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. It’s such a well written story about a time in America people hate to talk about. I think it is one of the few books I’ve read that have actually changed my life.

6. who’s your number 1 book boyfriend?

Sadly, I don’t have one. I don’t really enjoy reading romance so I never really gained a book boyfriend.

7. Tell us more about a current project you're working on. 

I’m currently working on the second book in the Good Ghost Gone Bad series it’s called Good Ghost Gone Crazy. I’ll also be writing the second book in the Zombie Vacation series.

8. Any advice for future writers?

Always write what’s in your heart. Don’t let reviews change your ideas and plot bunnies. Write what’s inside of you and someone will connect with it.

About the author: Janiera enjoys feeding her book addiction when she not writing. Writing is therapeutic to her during her struggles with Fibromyalgia. Being unable to work a normal 9-5 is what encouraged her to write full time. She is also a book blogger at Beauty and Books where she mixes being a book nerd with keeping things chic. Oh my! More Andrew...!!!!

The Edge of Always is the perfect ending to a perfect couple and book. 

Cam and Andrew are engaged with baby on the way. He was able to beat that tumor and now the couple is blissfully happy. Until tragedy strikes the couple. Can they get over their hurt? Will they be able to move on?

The same magic I felt while reading The Edge of Never was ever present in TEoA. Andrew's sense of humor mixed with Camryn's calm somehow blends the book into something truly amazing. 

The sex scenes were steamy, the conversations witty, and Andrew was sexy as hell! I am so glad we got his pov along with Cam. I don't always like male pov but I love being in Andrew's head. 

Towards the end of the book, I kinda found myself skimming. The story was dragging. But I so recommend this to everyone. All you Andrew fans out there, get ready to fall in love again. Oh and maybe have some tissues on hand? Just saying.

The air around them crackled with anticipation as they silently walked to the living room. She sat on the couch and invited him to sit next to her. Micah removed his boots and pulled her from her seat. Once he was lying on the couch, he pulled Julia down to him, and she sank in between him and the back of the couch. They fell asleep in each other’s arms, legs intertwined. Some time later, she felt Micah stir beneath her. Without hesitation, she brushed his jaw with her lips. A low groan fell from Micah’s mouth as she trailed kisses from the edge of his goatee to the tender hollow below his ear. She pulled her head back to take in the serene look on his face as helay with his eyes closed. Micah sighed again, pulling Julia onto his chest as he shifted to his back. The full body contact sentshockwaves straight to Julia’s core. It had been years since such simple movements caused this type of reaction within her. She brushed the hair from Micah’s face and continued to deliverfeatherlight kisses across his forehead, then one to the tip of his nose. Her breath caught when she saw the longing in Micah’s eyes. The moment she brought her lips to his, the passion exploded. He gently bit her lower lip before sliding the tip of his tongue to meet hers. When she didn’t resist, he allowed his tongue to explore more, tenderly sweeping around hers before he felt her gently sucking his tongue deeper into her mouth. Micah’s calloused hands reached under Julia’s shirt, caressing her sides. Her back arched as she felt his thumbs slide over the top of her cotton bra. “You’re going to have to tell me when it’s too much,” Micah groaned through staggered breaths. “I’ve waited so long to touch you again, I won’t be the one to say no.” As he placed gentle kisses at the corners of her mouth, Julia whispered, “I’m not saying no either.” She tugged at the hem of his T-shirt, needing to feel his bare skin against hers. Micah shifted their bodies so he could sit up without breaking their embrace. Before leaning back on the couch, he slid his hands up her back to unclasp her bra. Julia leaned back as he slid the straps from hershoulders, allowing him to take in the sight of her swollen breasts. Micah kissed and nipped his way down Julia’s neck to her chest until he slowly took one taut nipple into his mouth. She moaned as his tongue teased his way around the sensitive tip. In anticipation, her panties were drenched. There would be time for taking it slow later. Right now, she needed him. Julia hurriedly worked on the stud on Micah’s jeans, “Do you still carry one … in your … wallet?” she whispered between deep kisses. Micah nodded in confirmation, and Julia reached under him. Micah sat on the couch with Julia straddled across his lap. “Baby, not here …” She swallowed hard at his words. “I swear, I’ll kill you if you stop now,” Julia warned. She was past the point of no return.  

Meet H.B.

With the exception of three years spent in the middle of Nebraska, H.B. Heinzer has called southern Wisconsin home. During that time in Nebraska, she imagined one of her favorite authors living on the far western edge of the county, just south of the highway. At the time, becoming a novelist was a distant dream for her. Now, she is the author living in that location. Ironically, she later found out that same favorite author lives just outside the town HB lived in for the first eighteen years of her life. Now, HB lives in the middle of nowhere but still close enough to the city to not feel isolated. It's the perfect place to let her two kids run and explore their huge yard, teach them about the food chain as they prepare their first-ever garden and debate building a chicken coop. It's one of those dreams that is only possible thanks to the amazing opportunities that have come through writing.

Review: Death of the Mad Hatter by Sarah J Pepper

Synopsis:

The Jack prophesied: If the king loses his head, then the Queen with a Bleeding Heart would rule the Red Court until Time ceased to move forward. When a second carried on for infinity, every creature in Wonderland would tip their Hat to the misfit girl with a Boy’s name (or was it a boy with a Girl’s name?) who’d end the Reign of Terror. However, it all hinged on the One-Eyed Hare being able to convince an uninspirable Heir that the impossible was indeed possible—like stopping time—and that Love was worth a Beheading.

Review:

I've never been much of an Alice in Wonderland fan surprisingly. Never seen the cartoon but I do know the gist. I also think I know enough to point out that Death of the Mad Hatter is a story all in its own. It's quirky and fun and very imaginative. 

The story shifts between both Ryley and Alice Mae. Ryley is a somewhat popular boy who is trying to win the affections of "the hottest redhead in the school". 

But Alice Mae somehow weaves her way into the picture and of course Ryley can't help but be infatuated. Even though he doesn't want to be. 

Alice has a plan though. The Queen of Hearts wants Ryley in Wonderland, and Alice is just the one to do it. Here's the thing though, she has to make him fall in love with her!

A story that is as magical as it is romantic, I fell in love with the world along with the characters. I might even go and read the original, hah!

I recommend to all readers who enjoy fairy tale retellings and funny characters that make you laugh out loud. 

Oh and that cover is so beautiful and unique!! I loveeeee it.

I write clean romance. Why? Because that’s what I love to read, but over the years I’ve discovered it’s quite a challenge to find good clean romance. I believe it’s a genre that many people are looking for and too few authors are writing. My first novel, Just Ella, took me many years to write because I wanted it to be more than just a cutesy love story. I wanted it to have depth, to feel genuine. Hopefully I succeeded, but you’ll have to be the judge.

Now, wait just a minute. You can’t just plunge into a pool of water.”

“Why not?” I should have said something cleverer, but I felt a bit scatterbrained, all thoughts having fled when Gavin’s arm went around me.

He made a noise of exasperation. “Why not, she asks. Because, Princess, what’s going to happen when you show up for your lessons completely drenched? Or, what happens when we both show up on the palace grounds completely drenched? I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to have to explain that to anybody.”

Unfortunately, he had a point. “Don’t call me Princess.” He had been so relaxed today, so willing to be himself and let me be myself. I hated that he felt the need to remind me of my rank. I was tempted to be angry and walk away but I also wanted to see how long he would keep his arms around me. Simply out of curiosity, of course.

Review:

I am so in love! Just Ella reminds me of a clean cut fairy tale romance. Sighhhh. 

Ella, our heroine, wants more than what her life as a princess has to offer. She wants to be free. Free to do the things she loves and to fall in love with someone of her own choosing. When she meets Gavin, her whole world turns upside down. Being with him has taught her that there really is more to life than castle politics. But more importantly he has taught her how to truly be herself. 

"Never would have I ever imagined that loving someone could be so utterly painful."

I kept hearing the song Love Story by Taylor Swift. It's the perfect song for Ella and Gavin. Our beautiful couple. 

I'm so happy I signed up for this blog tour because the book is so different than what I'm used to reading. It's the type of romance that's enchanting and magical. I adored it!

"I'm sorry, Princess, but protecting you is ingrained in me. I cannot not protect you."

Ella is a strong female lead. She's brave and loyal and so very kind to her kingdom. Everything a great princess should be, at least in my opinion. Even through her darkest moments, she remained strong. I admire that and look up to a character that's independent and not obsessing over the boy she loves. 

Gavin is a beautiful, wonderful, honest, and well rounded man. He teaches our dear Ella so much about herself and trust me, you'll be swooning and loving him just as much as me. 

Gavin," I whispered. 

"Yes," he asked, his voice husky. 

"Let me go," I pleaded in a whisper. 

And I saw in his eyes that he understood. 

His face crumbled slightly and he groaned, "I can't." 

With all epic romances there has to be some downs. I'll be real with you, along with this beautiful story, there's tons of heartbreak. It made the story so much better in a way. The end result is what really matters. 

I highly recommend this to those who love fairy tale like stories with strong females leads who face hardships but remain poised and classy throughout it all. And it's a romance with loveable characters, so what's not to love?

Review:

She's done it again. I honestly don't know how with every single book, the stories get better, but they do! Oh boy do they get better.

Crash Into You has got to be one of my favorite reads this year. It was emotionally raw and like all of Katie's books, deals with real live issues. 

This is Isaiah's story. If you remember him from the first two books, you already know that he is Noah and Beth's best friend. Oh and he just so happened to have his heart broken by Beth as well. 

 We also get to meet Rachel, a beautiful and wealthy girl who suffers from extreme panic attacks. Rachel struggles with being herself and trying to make everyone in her family happy, even it it means her own happiness is on the line. She has a love for cars and its through her curiosity with street racing, that she meets Isaiah. 

Isaiah and Rachel get themselves in a big pickle when the aftermath of the street racing turns sour. 

Will they be able to go through the necessary means to save themselves? Or will they succumb to being owned by a sadistic street thug?

Crash Into You will leave you begging for more. Such a beautiful story that I know won't leave me anytime soon.
