Blurb:
It’s Jill Shalvis meets Susan Mallery in this gorgeous novel by New York Times bestselling author Lori Wilde about three sisters, one small town, a wedding, and the summer that changes everything.
Welcome to Moonglow Cove, Texas, a place where your neighbors know your name and the gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico lap lazily against the sands. It’s a magical spot, especially in the summertime…
Once the town was the home of the Clark sisters—brought up by their grandmother at the Moonglow Inn. Nicknamed “The Moonglow Sisters”, as children they were inseparable. Then, a wedding-day betrayal tore them apart and they scattered across the globe and away from each other. But the sisters have at last come home…
There’s Maddie: smart, sensible, and stubborn. Shelley, who ran off to find her bliss. And Gia, a free-spirit determined to keep the peace. It’s her impending wedding that keeps them together…but Gia has a secret, and when her sisters find out all heck is going to break loose!
The Moonglow Sisters continues Lori Wilde’s trademark storytelling to create an unforgettable novel of family, betrayal, love, and second chances.
Review:
I adored, loved, and fell in love with everything about The Moonglow Sisters. This is a story about forgiveness and what it means to be part of a sisterhood. Maddie, Gia, and Shelley are sisters that just so happen to be best friends. That is until a certain event pushes them apart for years. Now they are back in Moonglow Cove angry, bitter, and have one thing to do in order to fulfill wishes for someone they love.
I felt engaged from the moment I read the first word on chapter one. The setting and the characters truly made this book great. We even get a fake fiance storyline and I go crazy with that trope! Upon reading I didn't think that anything could be solved. The women seemed to broken and stuck on staying in that sad, angry place that I wondered how they would ever go on. I shouldn't have fretted. Wilde has a certain way with words that make it hard to put it down.
All the while, she still threw a few surprises along the way. Overall, I think during this trying time with the corona virus and being stuck at home, you should definitely add this to your spring readings lists. It has it all! It'll also make you feel a nice and giddy!

About the Author:
Lori Wilde can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to write. She even went to nursing school so she could have a schedule flexible enough to allow her to write on the side. She nursed for 20 years, working in a variety of settings from the newborn nursery to the recovery room, to dialysis. But she never lost her desire to write.
She sold her first book in 1994 to Silhouette Romance but later discovered she had a flair for comedy and branched out to Harlequin Duets and now, to Blaze.
Lori is an adventuresome soul who loves to travel. She’s taken flying lessons, completed two marathons, rode in a hot-air balloon, performed with a professional jazz band, traveled Europe as a teenager, hiked volcanoes in Hawaii, trod on glaciers in Alaska, shot white-water rapids, water-skied, snow-skied, raced all-terrain vehicles, bodysurfed in the Gulf of Mexico, and photographed grizzly bears in Yellowstone.
She lives in her native Texas, with her own real-life hero, Bill.
