Mmm...I love me some Jake.

'Bedmates' was such a fun read. Maddie is the daughter of the President of the United States and Jake is the son of the Vice President of the US. Both have grown up around each other being that their parents have always been in politics. The story opens up with Maddie being arrested for breaking and entering a place to free puppies before they're put to sleep. Being in the position that she is, it's obviously a bad thing if the media got a hold of what happened.

Meanwhile, Jake is coming back from war. As an ex soldier who is now disabled, there's no where for him to be besides helping out his moms campaign. (She wants to be the next president.) As luck would have it though both Maddie and Jake must work together. It would be okay if Maddie wasn't so mad at him. But that was all before Jake left for the Marines.

They're both grown adults that have matured since they last saw each other. The thing I loved so much about these two is the fact that there wasn't any head games. They knew exactly what they wanted and went after it. There wasn't anything but a deep natural attraction that the two couldn't fight anymore.

Jake is seriously a rugged, sexy man. Plus he was good! Talking about not being a dick, he cares for animals, loves his baby sister, and he's just an all around amazing guy. Maddie was awesome. She genuinely cared about people and animals. I liked her quiet confidence mixed in with her sassy personality. I strongly suggest this deeply romantic novel if you're in need of some good old fashion lovin'.
